Preventing violence and supporting safety and well-being are the responsibilities of all college community members. Campus safety increases through community members identifying behaviors that are concerning or may pose a potential threat and reporting those concerns in a caring and timely manner. Per the Campus Security Enhancement Act of 2008 [110 ILCS 12], the Campus Violence Prevention Plan includes information about resources, policies, and procedures to assist in protecting your safety and well-being. The plan affirms the college's zero-tolerance policy for violent and aggressive behavior on campus.
